International Design Clinic (IDC)

The International Design Clinic (IDC) is a nonprofit organization committed to bringing creative solutions to communities in need around the globe.​ ​Since its inception in 2006, IDC has completed over two dozen impactful projects across five continents.

 

Shalom Ministries and Hope Community Church are partnering with IDC to transform a church basement into a socially responsive design space.With IDC – and community input – architects, designers, and creatives, are working to restore a commercial prep kitchen, revitalize a community gathering space, and create areas for behavioral wellness programming.

Representatives from Hope Community Church, Carstens Elementary-Middle School, Neighborhood Grocery, Fielding International and others are meeting monthly to discuss a vision and plan for the space.
